Adjunct Associate Research Scientist
Gerson Nyadzi is the Science Coordinator/Team Leader of the Mbola Millennium Villages Project in Tanzania, coordinating programmatic and financial management and scientific and technological support required to achieve the MDGs at the community level for a cluster of villages with a total population of 40,000. He also provides oversight of the technical aspects of the project, including monitoring and evaluation, while engaging in fundraising and establishing and managing partnerships with a variety of collaborators. Previously, he was site manager of ICRAF Tabora, Tanzania and Interim Country Representative, ICRAF Tanzania, and as a Senior Agricultural Research Officer with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. He has a PhD in Ecology and Natural Resource Conservation from the Wageningen University and Research Centre, The Netherlands.
